The Utah Art Market serves as a marketplace for local artists who have a passion to share their talents with the community. It was first held in May,1994, offering the Salt Lake community access to affordable arts and crafts outside of the state and regional arts festival venues.
Each Art Market the best and most creative local artisans are invited to showcase their unique, funky, whimsical, hard-to-find, and almost always hand-made merchandise in a seasonally themed event. Art Market began as a once yearly event run out of Nanette’s home, but it has grown up into four events during the year, all held at the Sugarhouse Garden Center.
The one-of-a-kind, hand-made Arts and Crafts include: jewelry, children’s furniture, photography, candles, paintings, stationery, frames, pillows, holiday décor, clothing, handbags, hats, aromatiques, stitchery, stained glass, ornamental iron, pottery, baked goods and other unique creations.
